Killed highguard last yr! He had a 14" spread and was 7.5 yrs old. I have been hunting that deer for yrs. Not a trophy by any means, but I give him credit for making it season to season. Really, its hard to measure a deers spread! I showed the pic to the game warden, rancher and other members and it was 50/50 on the spread. The game warden told me if it didnt measure the 13" he would write me a ticket. When I shot him, I already madeup my mine, so whatever the spread was I willing to take that chance. Here is a pic of him 2yrs prior to that first pic.

yea I figured he was legal because at the top he widens out and his 14 would be measure from the widest point which is higher up. thats what makes me think mine is legal

What Drillbit said but he may be a little generous in the scoring.

He could definitely be in the low to mid 120's. Nice deer.

I say he is over 13, anyone want to guess the width on this one. And yes I know the measurement.
