Tonight is 660 million. Played the last time and out of 30 numbers I only got one correct. So I am using the same ones again and plan on being rich tomorrow.

Who's easily making $680M tonight? That's right the Mega Millions company.

I feel real good about my chances. Already started buying stuff. Found a 30 million dollar ranch in Colorado. About to call and put it on hold, waiting on my investment return.

I have few vices but this is one of them. Don't think I've missed a week since it began. Can't win if you don't play!

Played the other day, and won $25. Bought 5 chances for tonight, and drank the rest of the money. Figured that was a win-win! smile

I hate to shatter all your dreams but the lady who sold me my ticket today assured me they were the winning numbers.

The ultimate test of fate. Buy a ticket, write down the numbers, then burn the ticket.

I kinda did that. Bought a quick pick and looked at the numbers when I was walking to the truck and they sucked. Every number except the bonus ball thing was in the 60's. Gave the ticket to a homeless guy and turned around and went back in to buy another one.

I’m in for 5 tickets. Wife said she didn’t know if we’d win, but she could figure out what to do with the money if we did. hammer

Jackpot is $ 660 million with a $388 cash value. Say you won it and took the cash value option which is what I would do.

$388 mil - 25% fed tax would leaves you with $291,000,000.00

Would you give any of it away or?

Right off the get go I would setup a trust for my two kids giving each $50 Million ($100 mil)..
So now I am down to a paltry $191 mil.
Now the wife and I would each give $30 mil ($60 Mil) to friends and family.
Down to $131 mil easy peasy, I am going to spend about $40 mil on ranches and vacation homes leaving us with $91 mil to cover cost until death do us part.

So whats your plan??

Your plans better include paying a lot more to the IRS. You would pay 37% federal income tax on all but the first 1/4 million.

Tax lawyer and accountant first. Charitable Foundation and about 6-8 of the finest children hospitals (Shriners, KT Eye, St Judes, Boston Children's, Utah Primary Children's, etc). Buy a nice ranch and about 20 years operating expenses. I'm already in a vacation paradise here in Idaho.

Kids can buy their own damn tickets!! smile

What goes around comes around. If you win, I will spend some good time with your wife. She'll probably end up appreciating you more so you will win twice.
