When I went last yr I only had the skull cap of my deer. Really wish I had the full mount but taxidermist didn’t get the cape back in time even after I told him I’d pay extra to the tanner to rush it. Not the taxidermist fault at all but here is the finished product.

I saw the rack itself last year and its an awesome deer. But, as usual, seeing it on the mount is much better. The rack, mount, picture are all off the charts. And the kill shot video is the best ever. Congratulations and thanks for posting the picture of the mount.

Brand new Alltime record Typical Whitetail, low fence. Really hard to fully appreciate without seeing up close. Lots of real big ones here this year.

What about the biggest mule deer?

This is biggest Typical Mule from last year. Off a place my friend has that also did the taxi.
The previous pic of WT was the biggest EVER.

The closest shoulder mount is #1 Nontyp Mule. Hard to see much in that pic.
The rack only that’s closest is the #2 Nontyp Mule. He stalked him and killed with a bow.

198 7/8 net. Maverick county. New State record by a bunch. New #2 Typ all time was just an inch or so less and killed last year also.

the Tom McCulloch buck was no 1 killed in 1963 also in Maverick co scored 196 4/8 it grossed 211 3/8

That buck that is #2 has a lot of long tines. Just to many deducts.

The #2 buck actually wasn’t here. The man that killed him has showed up before so I’m not sure why.

I have seen pics of the buck right after it was killed. I had heard about him before that though.

Yes, I like the mini replicas for the top 3 as well. The Texas Slam awards have been upgraded a lot through the years and are extremely heavy.
All the animals aren’t in this pic but lots of hardware. Two Slams, #1 and #2 MD, and #1 Pronghorn. Also the man that controls the country most were killed on and he did taxi on all of them.
