Has the art of finding fish gotten lost, or are there just to many lazy people with money?
One exception, offshore saltwater fishing as many cannot afford the boat to do so or justify the price for a here and there trip. I would fall into this category, only times I’ve been was when invited.

Bay fishing can be a very very rough day if you aret use to navigational equipment or a shallow water boat. I’ve seen some pretty funny stuff with guys setting certain boats down into to shallow of water with out a jack plate.

Yup
And I've spent enough times pushing some of these dipsticks out that I never want to do it again. SMDH

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

People that hire guides probably call road side when they have a flat.

Because someone doesn't own a boat and enjoys hiring a guide from time to time makes them lazy?

I was very successful with crappie year round and fished a lot. It is fun staying on the fish. Got rid of the boat a few years back to do other things. Now if I want to do some crappie fishing I just book a guide.

Similar to duck hunting. May not have much free time and want to make the most of it. May also not own or want to own a boat.

Who says you need a boat to catch fish?

Will you take me out and show me what to use and what constitutes good habitat for crappie and white bass? Because I have really wanted to get into that, and it sounds like you would like to be a teacher.

I can hire a guide 4 times a year , catch all the fish I want, in new lakes every time for WAY , WAY cheaper than I can own my own boat and learn a particular lake. If I lived on a lake , absolutely I would own a boat and know exactly where to catch fish.

Or maybe it’s that you don’t have the money for a guide so you throw stones at those that do while you fish from under a bridge and sit on the same bucket your 7 minnows are in . Maybe . Sarcasm and picking on folks works two ways my man

Your right, I can’t afford a guide.

Picking on people? Because I believe someone is lazy in the sense that that aren’t willing to work for something, they’d rather just pay it?

Well, they have to work to make the money to pay the guide. And it's not like they're buying the fish at Kroger. You still have to catch them! Get a grip.

Ultimately I don’t care how anyone fishes. Kinda like hunting.

Guided unguided, on the bank, in a boat, cane pole, fly rod, ultralight.
High fence. Low fence, feeder, no feeder public, back yard that’s 5 acres.

As long as it’s legal. You do you.

But if I can say something to bother a thin skinned ninny. I’m in!
