For the record I’ve already made a doctors appointment to get blood work, done but I wanted to see what the brain trust here thinks , here’s my symptoms:

Itchy all the time
Dizzy when I stand up
Cardio has been steadily degrading for a few months , what I mean here is I notice getting winded much sooner in training , winded after two flights of stairs , etc.

I would say I’m in above average shape and weight is right on . I train 4 days a week . I’m terrible at drinking water, can go days without any actual water ( mostly drink sweet tea ) 50 years old . Haven’t changed eating or training habits in a very long time.

Whatever it is, I certainly am hoping for only a fly in the ointment.

I'm not sure about the itchy part, but it's possible that it's Pernicious Anemia, which is caused by a vitamin B12 deficiency, your blood work will probably include a B 12 test, but it wouldn't hurt to mention it.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

What does your blood pressure run? Are you on any kind of meds?

1. Drink more water
2. Check BP
3. Itchy could be a nerve.

I’ve read about the potential nerve damage can cause itchyness. It’s always worse at night , especially in my legs

I’m not on any meds, zero. I don’t take anything for ED, at this point the wife is still happy with the 180 seconds I provide once a week

Obviously you care about your condition if you train four days a week. It's hard to imagine you not drinking much water. I know somebody that when in his fifties would drink a glass of milk in the morning and go to the office and that was possibly the only liquid he had until lunch at the earliest, possibly supper. His kidneys nearly shut down. He was ill.

Your problem may not be lack of water, but lack of water can make you ill.

What's "normal"? The only diagnosis you'll get here is if someone experienced the exact symptoms you have and by chance you have the same issue.
Second the motion-you do need to get more fluids in your system or you can cause damage to your kidneys. The getting winded after two flights of stairs would have me at the cardiologist pronto.

Stint(s) in your future. You must drink more water. Actual water. Shoot for a half gallon a day. Sweet tea and exercise spells dehydration and kidney failure.

A few years ago, I was having trouble with some ibex getting sick. I took one to the vet and ask him to try to figure out what the problem was. He took urine, fecal, blood and tissue samples and sent them to Tx A&M for evaluation. A couple of weeks later he called me to come pick up the ibex. I ask what the prognosis was? He said the only thing they could figure out was that it had the Bandera Goat Disease. Since you were here maybe that is what you got.

But actually, you need to drink plenty of water. I probably drink at least a gallon a day.

I bet the itching is a different issue than the other. It sure sounds like a cardio issue when you factor out the itching.

All of that could be dehydration, including the itchiness, as you would have dry skin. But go see your PCP. Please.

I had some similar symptoms and mine were actually caused by iron deficiency anemia. Which can cause a whole lot of freaking health issues. The main difference between your symptoms and mine is that my pulse was over 100 and my blood pressure was elevated for me. I went because I was afraid I was having heart issues. I now take ferrous gluconate twice a day (if you have to take an iron supplement, you want ferrous gluconate, not ferrous sulfate...it'll give you stomach issues that you really don't want, and it has a nasty aftertaste when you burp) and B12. I'm 47.

I googled "can diabetes cause itching of the body?"

Answer:

Itching. Localized itching is often caused by diabetes. It can be caused by a yeast infection, dry skin, or poor circulation. When poor circulation is the cause of itching, the itchiest areas may be the lower parts of the legs.
