Be honest, who here was hard core mask mandate person?

I never see them anymore

But I vividly recall 300 lbers wearing them buying cigs

I swear and it was weekly

They just petered out man, it’s kinda crazy really

Let’s all just think about that

Not just mask, few of these dudes were “it’s safe and effective, you better get vaxxxed” also. Now that more info has been coming out about the worthlessness of a mask and the bad chit happening from the vaxxx, and they kinda just STFU.

So many strongly enforced the mask

As in, you can’t enter.

But if you had one at 300, buy all the cigs and booze you want.

I saw that personally

And it appears gone now

I’ll bet we have another uprising during the election

Only wore a mask if I was forced and needed to be in said building. Never took a virus test, though believe I may have had the crap at one point.

I’ll never reach a higher authority

It’s just a question I’d like to know.

Running 10 miles a week min and not wearing one was bad

Wearing one at obese levels and buying cigs was good

I guess I’ll never know

Wore it when I went to the Dr. Or you weren't getting in.
If I had to wear one to spend my money I went elsewhere with my money.
In October/November last year I had 3 surgeries on my left hand and they did Corona tests before I went under the knife.

I wore one at the hospital and the airport. One was for seeing people that I needed to see, and I couldn’t see, otherwise. The other was to return home from work. I hated every second of wearing one. I never agreed with it, and I never wore one when given a reasonable choice.

Pro tip...they render facial recognition software pretty much useless. I bet there are several hundred folks who wish they had been wearing one on their field trip.

This wasn't mean to target anyone per se

But just to further point out how strong big brother and the media really are

If it came across that way, it wasn't my intention

If you were elderly or truly had underlying conditions I fully understand

But if none of that applies...

I have been kicked out of 2 places of business over this

Its truly absurd if you are younger, under 40 and in good health

Its those ones who just bit hard that get me

I saw some in Walmart today. They had the n95 masks on. Very few people had them on. Walmart usually has a very large number of sheep with masks. The mask people will be back when they roll out a new variant for the midterms.

I am adding it up, I don't keep a good track honestly

But from Sat to today, I am at 9.2 miles ran

So, that should get to me to around 15 miles ran for the week

I AM NOT ONE UPPING, I HAVE A BUDDY WHO RIDES A BIKE AROUND 100 MILES A WEEK, I cant do what he does

I ain't trying to one up here, but why was I required why obese person openly shopped in a mask freely?

Ill argue because I know its coming, most are obese by choice...with a few exceptions

That may sound DB, IDK

Regardless, its gone for now

Was on a plane to san diego ca this past week, a few on the plane wore them, not many. Saw some around the town of murrietta/tumecula but overall they were very few and far in between.

Did see PPE vending machines at the SD airport, that made me laugh. Felt good to fly without a mask for the first time in two years.

Saw my first one in a long time today. She wore it to the table at a restaurant, led by a hostess not wearing one and the other person she was dining with wasn’t wearing one. She took it off as soon as she sat down. I’m not a mask shamer and I also only wore/wear one when required (like on an airplane), but this woman reminded me of how silly the entire mask requirement deal was.

From Texas to Pennsylvania, it’s rare that I see someone wearing a mask, anymore. I don’t stop in the big cities, though. I get through those liberal hell holes as fast as possible.

It’s America. I don’t question the ignorant things others do and hope like hell they don’t bother me. Ya know?

This site is the only place I hear anything about masks anymore.

And what’s the obsession with fat people and cigarettes?

Very very few seen here in Vegas.

I distinctly remember 2 or 3 years ago when this very first started…I don’t pay any attention to news or have tv. My kids and I went to Houston for spring break. The day we’re driving down was the day all the businesses closed up. No aquarium, no nasa, etc.
It was crazy. Did we go home or where a mask? [censored] no. We went to the beach and scrounged around for the few places that were open and had a great time.

This was also when there was a very long doom thread on this very forum with some normally rational people here kinda losing their minds. Advocating for a shutdown, advocating for mask mandates, etc.
What happen to them?

Dingbats are still out there.
I have been to two businesses in the last few weeks that would not let me in. But would bring what I wanted to the door. I am not happy about the shut down hurting small businesses. But some of them drank the cool aid and did it to themselves.
We have worked in two hospitals the last week that required a mask. One hospital required a vax and the other was about to add a vax mandate.
But masks are way down. I went to Lowes and Home Depot on Saturday. They were crawling with people, I only saw five masks.
