Sharing my experience:
Crossing was relatively easy, just need some patience.
Bad drought, then heavy rains creating a green up impacted deer sightings. Was told the ranch was lusher than they’ve seen it, ever.
I did see several mature bucks and shot a 19” 8 point management buck in November.
Made 4 trips down and stayed from 3 to 6 days on each trip.
Last week I got lucky and killed a close to 170” 11 point with a 2” kicker, making him a 12!

In all likelihood, the chances of an interrupted hunt by U. S. illegals are probably going to be fewer in Mexico than in South Texas. I have already been told by my wife that my chances of hunting in Mexico are slimmer and slimmest.
