Hope you did not leave one in the live well. Made that mistake once with a sandbass. Messy and smelly are not descriptive enough of what I found three days later.

Done that before! Several years ago Dad caught a 13 pound Hybrid that would not fit on a single side of the livewell so I folded down the divider. One of the Sandbass made it under the divider and I didnt see it when I unloaded the livewell. Few days later I found him.

You can definetly fillet just like a crappie. It might take some extra practice, but with an electric knife, I can clean 100 catfish in about an hour with someone cutting the ribs out. I'll also skin them, then fillet when I'm running lines on the river. Also, it is a lot easier when you pack them in ice and let them firm up before trying to fillet them.

Wife caught her personal best 9lb 12oz on Easter Sunday. She has several 9's, hope she sticks a DD at some point.

I have only been out once. i am about to start hitting Twok. I am headed to Burnet Thursday to fish Buchanan for a couple of days. I have spent the last 2 mornings installing Active Target on my boat. It has been the install from hell. Last struggle was running the ethernet cable up through the console. I measured the connector a couple of times and it was right at 3/4". I had a 1" hole saw but figured 3/4" would work. Off by 1/16th so I had to use a 1/2" bit to enlarge the holes slightly. Working inside a console that I can barely get 2 arms in is not a lot of fun.

I would love to float a caddis or cast some nymph's in that creek. You are a lucky man.

Cedar creek last weekend, all 75 keepers caught in 2 hours. Then headed to the dock before the thunderstorms with flash floods hit. Crappie same shooting the docks.

It was mohunter, he always follows me around and steals my spots. Normally he just looks for my green umbrella, but I did not have it out yesterday..

If you would stay away from my side of the lake you would not have to see me. You should go back to fishing the west arm like you did the first couple years,lol.

We are joking, but he is right, I used to fish the other side of the lake only because it was closer to my house. But on this lake I bet I have over 500 spots marked to fish all over that lake, mohunter probably has more.
