If you ever want to get an idea of how many people should not be driving a car, go to IH10 and West Avenue in San Antonio, during a rain. Many are paralyzed with fear. Who knows how many actually have a driver's license, never mind insurance. I grew up on West Avenue. It's not even the same country anymore.

As usual when the rest of the state gets a sprinkle we get flooded, I dumped 5 3/4”s out a few minutes ago from last nights rains. We needed a little rain but damnit I’m tired of flooding rains every time a storm blows up. Our bottom pasture is under water and it’s a crock of [censored] yet again…. If any of you guys want to move to a location with plenty of rain look no farther then NE Texas on the river. If they call for an inch your looking at 3-6 inches every time. You may want to quit complaining What you have is MUCH WORSE than burning up and not being able to even grow pasture grass for cattle!
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

5 1/4 in. at home/ranch (by Johnson Branch - Ray Roberts Lake). front tank was at 1/4 - now full. Mostly soaked in - just a few puddles here in there in low spots. If that fell over my full 40 acres, google says that's 5.4 million gallons - blows my mind! Yes sir Pretty amazing that an inch of rain on one acre equals 27,154 gallons of water! If you got 5.25" on 40 acres it is actually over 5.7m gallons

1/2" here in New Braunfels and looks like we might get more. Fingers crossed. My office is on the north end of town just off IH35 and we've had 1.4" so far here. I am praying I get home and got at least an inch in the gauge. Man we are dry there

I got a trace of rain in my gauge in Mason. So sad; such a missed opportunity! Everyone was so excited at the prospect of a drought-buster.

Another good shower passing through north Bexar County just now. Like the last few storms, it is likely to skirt right by us. It rained across the road last night.

1.1 yesterday and I'm more than just a little thankful for it.
Wife said it was coming down hard this morning at 6:30 when she was trying to leave so hoping we got another 1/4" or better.

Posted earlier that neighbor said I got 4 inches of rain South of Bowie. 3 neighbors, one about 1/8 mile from me got 4.5. However, I went there, loaded with anticipation and found that I got 2 inches. DAMN, I need a frog strangling rain . All of my ponds/tanks are either 4 to 5 ft down or dry.
But, gotta admit, that it’s been a long time since I got a 2 inch rain. It will help.
