Correct, the hunt is in the North West province of South Africa....only 1.5 hours from the airport in Johannesburg.

I flew United from Houston > Newark > Johannesburg. Total travel time is about 20-22 hours depending on layovers. I flew United’s new “Premium Plus” which is basically a hybrid between economy and business class….it was very comfortable. The best piece of advice I can give for the long leg of the flight (about 15 hours) is to semi-dehydrate yourself so you don’t have to get up and pee too often. I also took ZzzQuil, which let me sleep for about 6 hours each way.
