Interested if anybody thinks these might work. It looks like a can (barely) load to mag length without being too deep. I like the idea of a 115gr option.

I just ordered my barrel last week(18” 15 x1) I have a box of 110 VMax I can use. I also have 2 boxes of Sierra 125 MatchKings will they work also? This 300 Ham’r will be something new in our hog hunting endeavor.
some people like silver and gold I like brass and lead with a little powder in between

I use the V-Max in my 16" barrel and brought down two boars, one 210 pounds and the other 230 pounds. Both shots were under 110 yards and in the neck area. DRT

I think when Sierra started making them they were designed for the blackout, may have a pretty thin jacket if that was the case in order to use for varmints. Be interesting to see what you get in testing.

DRT I've smashed a couple dozen hogs over the last several days to add to the couple handfuls taken over the last few months with the 2650fps HAM'R 110vmax experiment. >300# to 3# Head Neck Shoulder, Quartering to, Austin Heart Shot. . . It's a killer for sure. It is way under rated as a HAM'R bullet IMO.

Varmint bullets designed for the .308 and such velocity tend to perform more like conventional big game bullets when only pushed to the velocity we can attain with the HAM'R. I haven't shot any hogs with the V-MAX, but I've killed several with the 110gr Hornady and Speer SPs with good success. If I remember right DJ has killed a bunch of hogs with the V-MAX. I've found the Sierra 135gr HP-V to be one of the deadliest bullets at 2350fps MV.
