Particularly when we go out to have a "decent meal." Service is poor; food is mediocre, at best; the final tab for just the two us still looks like a mortgage payment. We come back to the house and say to ourselves: "why do we do this?" And it's getting worse, as the restaurants are having so much trouble getting help to cook the food, serve the food, bus the tables. Not much fun any more, and certainly not a "treat!"
