Seems dumb to play at the same time. Cutting the viewership way down. I agree, but they want all these games in primetime. They should at least stagger them by 30-45 minutes. After a very exciting Tech/Duke game, I flipped over to Houston/Az and there was only a few minutes left and Houston. Would have liked to have seen the whole second half.

My Razorbacks beat the snot out of Gongalaz. Gongalaz? That's not even remotely close and surely there's no auto-correct flaw.

Who is the gold standard in college basketball ? Buddy swears it’s Kentucky, but they only have 1 championship in last 20 years.
Duke? NC?
I know UCLA had a bunch back on the day. But 0 in 35 years makes you pretty much basketball irrelevant.

I know UCLA had a bunch back on the day. But 0 in 35 years makes you pretty much basketball irrelevant. UCLA is certainly not irrelevant, still a college basketball blueblood for sure. But kinda like Texas in football before winning the '05 Championship. I'd say the programs with the biggest TV drawing power and biggest fan support are UNC, Duke, Kentucky, and Kansas. UCLA is probably a step down from those. Villanova won 2 championships in the last few years and Gonzaga is a really good program as of late, but neither has the name brand power, loyal following, and TV ratings that the others mentioned have. Similar story for UConn and Indiana - neither of those have been relevant in a while now. Michigan St., Arizona, and Louisville are probably honorable mention.

Kansas and Villanova both have 3 championships. Kansas way more final 4 appearances. Villanova could make a jump this year to 4. And 3 within last 7-8 years.

For some reason I thought Michigan had won a couple. But the have not. MSU has, but not Michigan. Michigan last won in 1989 I believe. The do have second most tournament wins in the last 10 years though.
