I stopped and got a Griffs burger the other day. It was pretty solid. Hadn’t had one in 20 years.

The best burger I have had in a long time is the one I cook on my griddle. When I was growing up in the 60`s and 70`s there were lots of great small burger joints that served great burgers and fries, They have been replaced by the Mcdonalds of the world with prepared frozen patties that basically have little flavor. I`ll put my home made burger with my personally ground hamburger meat against any of them any day. What I wouldn’t give for an old Chi hua huas burger.

I agree Bigbob. Charley's is a good burger. Onion rings are top notch too.

Is Woody's still in that quonset hut? When I had a quail lease north of Breckenridge we'd plan our trip to stop in Mineral Wells and eat at Woody's. That's been a long while back. Love the place. Great burgers.

Wife & I went up to Whataburger and the line was doubled wrapped around the building so I said nope not waiting. We then went up to Sky Rocket Burger at Frankford & Coit and man thats a tasty burger, they put some Brisket in their patty;s. Bad picture but great burger. Wife also got cheese fries, don't waste your money on them.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.
