Haven't tried the bbq but tried their pizza once and it wasn't bad....I was really hungry though.

I live right around the corner from 407BBQ. For me eating a QT BBQ sandwich would be like banging a crack whore when I got Margot Robbie waiting at home in bed for me.

I was told that Bucees' chopped brisket sandwich is really good too. I had one. Didn't even need to finish it.

This is pretty accurate. QT sandwiches are really good when you're making a quick stop on a road trip. It's not the place I would go when I'm looking for actual good BBQ. Good in this case really just means they are high on the convenience store food scale.

Really Bucees sliced bbq with pickles and onions is pretty good.

Your friend is wrong. The QT sandwich isn’t good and pales in comparison to Buc-ee’s. I ate one for the first time a few weeks ago as I was heading to the lease. I live in Mesquite and by the time I hit Willow Park on I20, I had a horrible case of bubble gut.

I think they are $4 and not much meat in them. I will not get another one unless desperate.

The BBQ sandwiches at QT did not look to appealing to me. I can confirm that their cold sandwiches are good to go, but now i seem to remember hearing that most of the ready made sandwiches my have gone away.

Based on his recommendation, I think I'll try one sometime. I think Buccee's BBQ is decent, considering.
I don't need gourmet BBQ every time I want a sandwich.

I can remember, not too long ago, when the only food at a "service station" was in a machine that said "Tom's" on it.
And the restroom around the side looked like the murder room. Smelled like it too.

I had a sliced turkey sandwich at 407 on Tuesday eve. It hit the spot!
