I think this is a more fitting observation. It seems to be a race to the bottom.

Everyone feels the need to record their kills then act all giddy about it and broadcast it all over social media. I don’t think it should be a spectator sport.

'Was recently on a hunt with another client that, when there was cell signal, was always looking at his "friends" and their kills on social media. I think that was the only reason he was on the hunt, to post a kill on social media. He was no spring chicken either. confused2

Me too. I guess it helps those frustrated males who have never really challenged themselves to feel more like a hardass using such lingo.

As much as I love hunting, there is nothing remarkable about killing a deer or pig. Tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of people do it every year. Stop acting like you faced off with this killer beast in hand to hoof combat, when in actuality you ambushed it from a tree stand while eating a few little Debbie cakes and surfing bikini fishing chicks on Instagram

Well, there went the rest of my day. I hope you're happy. roflmao

That behavior has been going on for decades. I believe that’s a big reason Africa hunting became so popular, because people wanted to go and out-do their buddies and show off at get togethers in front of the slide show machine.

I’m guilty of that myself, a circle of us who do a lot of hunting , a small part of me wants to out do the others experience wise. It’s not about the size of the animals, just the trips, experiences and variety.

If it’s not Newburg or Rinella, I probably won’t give it a chance. With a name like that, I’m not about to waste my time.

RobinSteve and his merry band of libs is on the other end of the spectrum. I like Rinella personally but it’s hard to watch Janis and Cal.

Other than thinking a Nissan Titan is the best truck ever made, I believe Newberg is legit and a good guy. I like his personality and on screen presence.
