Same. I think it's a little strange when the man doesn't drive.

I absolutely agree that many men are controlled by their dominant spouse...traditional roles have definitely changed in the last 40-50 years. I'm so thankful my wife isn't that way.

I drive most of the time. She drives short trips around here in her car. I mostly drive longer trips….

I drive when sober. (Which is the majority of the time)

During the house build she said "men are supposed to he head of the household and I didn't marry a pu**y. I have seen the boss's job and I don't want that job".

She is a goodun!

She doesn't drive my truck unless she has to for some reason. She said it stinks and it's gross...uhh well it is hunting season.

We go 50/50 driving her Tahoe, I don't care if I'm passenger seat, kinda nice to just day dream every now and again.

My wife drives us around more than I do. I drive many many miles every week at work, and I get sick and tired of it. When we get ready to go somewhere, I get her to drive, she hates it, but doesn’t complain much. When we go to the metro mess, I drive, she has never driven in traffic like that.

If we were in a wagon train, I would be driving and she would fight off the injuns.

It's the tailgating, panic braking, and lolling in the left-hand lane that I can't handle. Only when I'm sedated.

My wife is a speeder and a late braker. Because of that, I drive 99.9% of the time.

Thanks,
Rich

If in her SUV - she drives, in my Jeep - I drive. Only long trips we swap out every two or three hours. Overseas - I usually drive. She can drive a stick but still has trouble shifting left-handed.

I see "men" letting their wives drive all the time in the messoplex.

I get it, Dr appointments, dentist appointments and under the infuence. There have been more than one occasion where that is not the case, example last Saturday morning my wife and I were going to a cafe for breakfast and this man and woman pulled up, he in passenger seat was screaming at her where to park. Heck maybe he had a dwi or something.

Just seems more men are controlled by their dominate spouses.

If you think things like this make you a man, you missed the point.

Nope not at all. It's just my nature.

Regardless of the vehicle, I drive. Period. I'm a control freak on this particular topic.

My wife drives a little slow for my liking - but 98% of the time I end up driving. That applies to my wife, other family, and friends. I have not ever "asked" to drive...somehow it always ends up being me behind the wheel.

I drive most of the time, I'm a bad passenger.
If the roads are going to be iffy the husband drives to wherever we are going and I may drive home if roads are ok.
He drives slow, won't hardly speed for fear of a ticket.
Most years we travel down to Texas I drive most of the way, 12 hrs. It's a 13 hr drive if the spouse is behind the wheel.
Big cities , he requests and prefers me to drive.
