Have not had a Fried food fix in way to long, folks it was way good! Unfortunately they still do not have Gumbo? This is from the Beltline & Coit location in Richardson.

Wondering if anyone liked fried catfish Man those were big fillets and they were way good, so were the hush puppies

They do look good and I have a high bar for fried catfish. Is difficult to find a place that can season and cook them right. That means, like I do!

The wife usually picks it up for us, she was told when the China virus started they had to cut back on the menu and the gumbo was not a big seller so they decided to not bring it back. Going to lunch there this week at their new location on Plano Pkwy. at Collins Rd, it is on my way to Total Wine & More

Flying Fish is good. I've got one of their punch cards. Eat there 10 times and get a free meal. I used to eat there pretty often before working from home. Catfish and shrimp combo for me every time. Go Go Gumbo in Boyd has the best gumbo.

I have wanted to eat there (GoGo Gumbo) for a long time, unfortunately the times I have been in that area (morning or mid day) they were not open. They open at 4pm.

Wife surprised me with Big Shucks Friday night and their Gumbo is back, unfortunately it was very bland and no amount of Tabasco & Pepper could save it. The fried Catfish was delicious as usual.

That does look good Bigbob. Is Zeke's still around? Back in the day I used to eat there regularly. I went to high school with the brothers that started it, Craig and Mark.

Go to Flying Fish , Ask for fried grouper ( it is on the menu only as grilled, but they will fry it on request) so much better than catfish. thank me later
