Finally managed to find time to get to Arlington and try this place. I ordered 2 El Jefe platters, which is brisket, pulled pork, turkey, 2 ribs, and a sausage link along with 2 sides.

The meat:
- Brisket wasn’t to my liking, but the wife and others with us liked it.
- Turkey was good and not at all dry
- Ribs we’re excellent and a little spicy
- Pulled pork never excites me… but this stuff was different and down right awesome.

The sides-
- Elotes, very good but I personally would like more spice
- Green Chili Mac n Cheese was very good.

Now for the best thing I ordered from there, the Birria Taco. I don’t know where to begin with this, but you absolutely have to try it even if you don’t get anything else.

I want to check them out!!

I have the patience of a gnat when it comes to waiting in line at restaurants. Hurtado's BBQ is worth waiting in line for.

Curious, what was it about the brisket you didn't like?

He has woman like tendencies and will probably produce some BS boujee like reason such as texture or some other crap similar.

I gotta give this a go this week.

If you liked the biria tacos get to Vaqueros BBQ in Grapevine and try his cochinita pibil tacos. They are awesome as well.

It was moist, texture was right, it looked good, I just couldn’t taste it. Maybe I was having an off day, but I like a heavier bark and more pepper.
