Missed the whole it's in an Avanche thing. It's really a specifically designed rig for a certain quarry under special circumstances. Gophers on a golf course don't stand a chance.

Enjoy your leaf springs….. those coils are super smooth. Although having to cut and re-work that HR to fit in an avy bed was not fun.

Actually I was duck hunting in that pic. Hence the Hell Hound in the back

Classed as a low fence ranch. There's about 13 1/2 miles or so of fence line. About ten miles of it is high, and all put up by five different neighbors. 16 years ago when I got on, our entire 5 mile North boundary was low fence, but when the Eagleford came in, the Donnells decided to high fence about two miles so they wouldn't be chasing the brahmers they bought. The hunters in that pasture didn't like it at all, as they told us. They had no say in the matter and neither have we.

I once witnessed a 3 1/2 year old 8 easily clear that 7 foot Southern fence line. From a standing position, it looked pretty effortless. Went from ours to theirs.

Here's the story. That spot is in the pasture where my Tacoma nor any other vehicle seldom goes. Don't have no side by side. He was at the onset of the rut and more interested in finding companionship than looking into the sun to find me.

Timing is everything and yes, at times I are an idjit. My original response was misdirected.

I really don't know why they would do such a thing when they have such a good neighbor willing to share his protein and cotton seed with the local bovine herds.

Dummies!!!!!!

grin

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
