I agree this Dots45 need’s to be banned! I’ve made serval deals on this forum and they have always been honest and straight forward. Once you make a deal with a person, that’s it! It’s the Texas way I’ve always been taught and lived by. Greed doesn’t work here.

Think he may have got Cbump as well. He commented on the model seven 308 Dots45 has for sale earlier today.

If someone offers you more money your going to sell it. Brocktx15 is now going onto my post and just being a keyboard warrior. I’ve texted him and tried to make a trade deal on similar rifles I had like the one he wanted. It’s pretty childish to go onto my post and bash them. GTFOH with that mentality. You honor your agreement and if someone else offers more money, you do the right thing and stick to the original deal. I think you just greatly reduced your ability to sell anything else on here so you might as well ban yourself from the classifieds.

Bad deal. Agree with others, should be banned. If higher standards are not protected they will erode.

Ban him or we can blackball him. I've been here a day or 2, bought some, sold some, traded some. Never had no issues like this with anyone I've dealt with. This is a Texas Gentleman's forum, your word is cast in stone.

I've been in this exact situation several times over the years and I never broke the first deal I made. If I agree to sell something to a person, higher offers go in line behind the first deal in case it falls through. No excuse for this nonsense.

I have had a few members try to buy an item out from under someone else by offering me more money. Not only did I decline the offers but it showed me the true character of the person trying weasel their way to the front of the line to snag a deal out from under another forum member.
Go sell your crap on Craigslist! You will fit right in.

For 15 years I've been buying guns from members on this forum and never had a problem but in 2020 and 2021 I've had 3 and all were fairly new members. I'm about ready to just give up on the classifieds and stick to local deals and local shops. Two were sold out from under me and I'm not too sure the other one really existed and it wasn't a con job. Then I think we have a few on here that post up other peoples guns and try to make a little off the deal. It ain't what it used to be.

I’ve got a few pm’s over the past year or so trying to sell Sadly I’m over my limit and delete as needed (I’ll just wipe out a dozen or so) But I swear I’ve had a decent amount of turds in the trading section Oddly, when I said this in the rifle section about a year nobody seemed to believe me Glad to see others are now reporting

Sounds like one person operating on different accounts, at least that was my thought. All were what I would call highly sought after guns and from what I can remember they were never sold to a forum member but they did say they were sold. I was the first to say I'd buy it on this forum all three times.

A quick look shows he's posted a lot of rifles in the short time he's been here, I count 11, that might draw attention he doesn't want. Y'all hang onto any text's, e-mails and phone numbers he gives.

It’s also worth looking at total number of posts, join date, and whether they only seem to post in classifieds. Those who have a lot of time and conversation invested in an online community probably want to have a good reputation in any dealings and aren’t likely to be scamming anyone. That has worked out well for me and I’ve not really been dissatisfied with anything I’ve bought on here.

I’ve been watching and he keeps coming back to check on this thread pretty often Surely he knows his selling days here are over or if he does sell anything else it damn sure better be on the up and up but personally I’d simply rather him move on. I’ve never had a bad dealing on here but then again I won’t deal with anyone that’s new or at least anyone that buys a membership without enough posts and or only sells stuff in the classifieds without participating in the rest of the forum. Ive missed out on some things I would have liked to have bought but I’m not taking the risk.

Yes I haven’t been on here very long and I do have a lot of post and a lot of things to sell. I’ve had a lot of good interactions with a lot of good people on here. Sorry to Brock for not letting him have first dips at the rifle. I had the rifle post on other sites as well and it sold pretty quick. I’ve bought a lot of items on here and sold a lot on here. Didn’t have a lot of problems till now. Like I said I apologize to Brock for the bad dealings. Yes I was offered more money and sold it to someone else. My fault for not being upfront about that. If y’all don’t want to deal with me or want to buy what I have I understand. I apologize for upsetting y’all and disrespecting y’all’s forum.
