Urge2hunt has already begun reserving our Alberta moose hunters for next season, where hunters enjoyed an 100% shot opportunity in 2021!
Our moose hunt is a guided 7 day any weapon hunt with meals, lodging and trophy retrieval all included. These are very action packed hunts that begin on Sept 22nd and run into November. You can also make it a combo hunt for 2 black bears and wolf. Price is $9,500 plus tags.
Due to the high success every season, this hunt books up fast with few spots available. Contact us now to reserve your preferred rut dates. 415-706-1204 serge@urge2hunt.com

Our moose hunts are North of the Peace River area so easiest airport to fly into would be Grande Prairie.

Our moose hunts are North of the Peace River area so easiest airport to fly into would be Grande Prairie. Were you aware that I live north of Peace River and have my entire life? And that I was a big game guide for a number of years? I am very familiar with the whole area from Peace River to the NWT border and from the BC border to the Saskatchewan border. The area is over 90% undeveloped public land. I believe the exact figure is 93.6% undeveloped.

Guys, there is no urge2hunt or Serge listed with APOS.
APOS is the Alberta Professional Outfitters Society. To outfit or guide in Alberta one is required by law to be licensed by APOS.
Second, the largest land holders north of Peace River are all grain farmers. This is not ranch country.
Third, with so much undeveloped forest, seeing a Moose in farming country is hit and miss at best.
Up here all Moose tags are on draw, or for Outfitters, they are allocated.
An allocation is required in order for an out of country hunter to buy a tag. Allocations are acquired through a government auction and only outfitters registered with APOS may bid on one. The outfitter then sells one allocation slot to each hunter he intends to guide for that year only.
There is such a thing as a hunter host but that would not apply here since a hunter host may only guide one hunter per year.
What I'm saying here is if you are interesting in hunting with this guy please do your homework.
Do for yourself as much as you can, eat what nature provides as much as you can. This is the key to sleeping well and living long.

Hogwart, We have never claimed to be an outfitter in Alberta, as we are a large booking agency with over a decade in business. While it's appreciated that you have so much time to research our current licensing with APOS, and then warn hunters about conditions that don't exist, if you had spent the same amount of time researching our business model, you would have had an epiphany. What I'm saying is here, if you read Hogwart's postings please do your own homework as well.

You certainly did not make it clear you are a booking agent. That would make a difference as I'm sure you know. Why deal with a booking agent when you can deal with the outfitter who conducts the hunt? Every legal outfitter in Alberta is listed on the APOS site at; https://www.apos.ab.ca/The APOS site lists every legal outfitter in Alberta along with the species they guide for, the area or areas they hunt and their contact information. I did do the research as you say. The reviews that I found did not speak well of you. Is that the epiphany of which you speak. By the way guys, my honesty has been called into question here. If you go to the APOS site you will find; Byron Wolf, Herb Simpson, David Vos, and Glen Belerose, on the APOS list of outfitters. All of them know me well and would vouch for my honesty and knowledge of this area. I know other outfitters on that list but not well enough to know for sure if they know enough about me to vouch for my character or knowladge.

A bit about licensing costs. This is from the 2021 Alberta Hunting regulations; https://albertaregulations.ca/huntingregs/licencecosts.htmlNon-resident alien Moose tag = $310,30 Canadian Non-resident alien Bear tag 2 tags issued = $105 02 Non-resident alien Wolf = $12.40 Please note all outfitters also charge an additional fee for the allocations for all three licenses. How much depends on how much they paid at auction for those allocations. Typically that allocation cost them $1,000 or more. These fees are all over and above any fees a booking agent may charge. A typical Moose hunt booked through an Alberta outfitter costs from $6,000 per hunter to over $10,000 depending on what services are offered and what transportation is required. That is for a 7 day hunt. That is before licensing fees are added.
