I have been shooting sporting clays with a very nice Browning Citori feather 20ga and doing well. But i seem to have reached a certain level and was stuck there.
Some background, i had shoulder replaced and both knees replaced, didn't want the 12 gauge recoil on my shoulder.

People i shoot with convinced me that i was basically giving away a 40% advantage shooting a 20ga against 12gauge shooters.

I started a search for a gas gun/12ga 28-30 inch barrel;

what i found was :

A300 ultima with Kick off recoil reduction / self cleaning gas system

shot it yesterday for the very first time and set a new personal best sporting clays round

it is a very soft shooting gun with 1 1\8 target loads recoil is even less than my citori 20 ga 7\8 target loads

it feels bulky compared to my citori & heavier but it swings well and shoots lights out

i took less than 25 rounds before gun was broken in and cycling perfect for those true pairs

for a $750 gun i feel it was a bargain ! Beretta knocked one out of the park with this shotty

Looked at one yesterday. I thought it was nice for the price. Not a fan of the KO though. However, it will do you extremely well with the shoulder issues.
