Got drawn for a any deer tag up in South Dakota. After months of planning we finally made it up there this week and met with a good buddy who lives near Rapid City.

Seen tons of deer every day just had to find them on the right piece of public to make a stalk. On the second evening we find a group of 16 (2 bucks, 14 does). We made our move and got with in 250 yards. Wind was blowing 35 in our face and I shot in the bigger of the 2 bucks. We hunted hard walking over 25 miles in 2.5 days. The pain and cold weather was worth the memories made with good friends!

I couldn’t be happier with him as my first mule deer. Big bodied mature 3x3!

nice! I've always wanted to hunt mule deer up there and do a public duck hunt/ deer hunt. Good looking mulie!
