I had heard a terrible rumor some time ago about G and H decoy co. shutting its doors. Further confirmation came the other day when someone said they were out of stock on all items. I wanted another 6 dozen redheaded decoys. I went to the website and nothing is in stock. So I called hoping I could get in before the doors close for good. Well come to find out they are not closing, they are selling. G and H will still be in operation after December and they will be in full production. Praise God and all that is Holy.

Any idea of the name of the new owners?

No Sir. If I was prone to liking Oklahoma I'd dream about being the new owner. Not in my cards though.

I remember seeing that they were for sale, I think the asking price was $1.2 million.

Wayne would probably need to sell his airboat.

Interesting I figured a higher EBITDA then that , but might explain why they went unsold

I reckon we would have to peek at the numbers to see if 1.2 is good or bad. I can't imagine their numbers are good at all. It would certainly be a seasonal business. Manufacturing in America with China and the likes as your only competitor, not easy to keep your head above water. This country is like a giant pack of rats eating their ship at sea.

I’ve bought decoys several times at G&H in Henrietta. I know things change with time. I hope the new owners continue to manufacture the same quality decoys…

I'm surprised they shut down production before the sale. That's a industry that probably cannot support a lot of debt. 1.2 is probably 300k or so in cash flow assuming no real estate or inventory.

4x EBITDA is what I figured. I really thought they had higher revenue but take a step back it makes sense

I do too. I am probably going to buy 4 or 5 more dozen redheads when they fire up again.
