Drying. One of Jerry's last ones.

Faux rock with a smattering of snow will be under him. He's gonna over power the little living room at the ranch, but it's the only choice I have. First, and, 99.5% sure, last full-body mount of anything.

Oh, that's the young guide! (But I do like how you think.) She's the only thing that kept me from breaking down and whining like a little girl on those "hill" sides. She's as in shape as you can get, AND, she fixes supper when everyone gets back to the boat. She and her husband run an incredible outfit.

roflmao Looking nice Creek. A well earned and deserved trophy/memory of a lifetime.

I was hoping you weren’t gonna put that in the garage….

Great mount, if you need help hanging it let me know, I’ll be glad to come by to watch and give unsolicited advice…

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

She's not exactly thrilled.

Congrats and that is a great looking mount in the works. What type of prep shape work up did you do for the trip? Dream trip for me but If and when, I'll need time and prep and I'm sure more than I think.
Beautiful country, headed for the inter glacier cruise next year

I'm an example of what not to do. I did some, but not enough. I could have enjoyed the hunt much more if I'd done lots more cardio. You're basically scrambling up a mossy, completely soaked mountain side the whole time. You're pulling up with your arms and shoulders as much as using your legs, grabbing on to little trees, roots, vines, etc. Do as I say, not as I did. Find a gym with one of those climbing, whole-body work out machines and get after it.

theringworm on here did the same hunt this last year, and he's a lot more dedicated to an actual exercise routine. Maybe he'll chime back in on this.

The terrain I can see the ancient Native Americans saying "Screw that! There's no need to go up there."

Remember, you have 8 months to get ready to walk for miles across swamps and spongy tundra
