Pretty one sided debates from his end though, no matter how bad UT was sucking, they were always one pass, one tackle, one block or one run away when it was abundantly clear they were much farther away from that. He was/is the consummate UT fan boy, that is indisputable.

But in a way you have to respect his love for his team. Even when they lost to teams with 1/4 the talent they had he could always find a bright spot somewhere.

As bad as their O was last year, their D was as bad or worse. Couldn't stop any running between the tackles and very little consistent pressure on the QB. Not sure how Ewers or Manning fix the D significantly.

On paper, Longhorns are loaded at QB. Hudson Car was number 2 QB coming out of HS. Ewers was number 1 QB. Arch is number 1 overall. Which I think is a bit of a stretch. Considering his 70 TDs and 19 INTs. That’s high on INTs for number 1 overall recruit. Playing against private school competition.

I think Arch picked Texas for 1 reason. NIL money, his dad has a net worth of 12 million. He can do better than that in 3 years at Texas.

Texas has made progress with their paying of offensive linemen. But not much on receivers. I think Gary Patterson can help.

Alabama got Eli Holstein signed last week. The number 3 QB in Manning’s class.

At least 1, if not 2 of those three QB's will transfer eventually. Manning will likely stay would be my guess, as there's too much hype and pressure from the Manning clan for him to ride the pine. Kind of like when Mac Brown screwed over Applewhite for Chris Simms, who was adequate at best.

UT picked up 4 new recruits since Manning came on board. The Aggies lost a 5-star recruit.

That's not quite how it works in college...

Even if Manning doesn't live up to the expectations the recruiting benefit should pan out.

And they still lost to KANSAS at home.

So I'd worry a little more about how they hell UT is going to fix their fronts as well as their defense because both lines and the defense are as soft as butter on a 110 degree day in the sun!!!!!

Until they are able to start developing all the talent that they have been getting for years it doesn’t mean much.

They have never lacked for 4 & 5 star talent yet just look how few they've put into the league the last 8-10 years.

That's ridiculous, that guy is just trying to stir the pot. Every single recruiting expert has him not only as a 5-star, but as the #1 recruit. And every single coach in the country, including Saban, Swinney, and Smart, pursued him heavily as that #1 recruit.

Only time will tell.

Having Arch listed as top recruit in country, obviously helps these rating companies. I don’t think he’s a 3 star. But also don’t think he’s the number 1 recruit in the country.

I have watched his highlights and lowlights. His competition is subpar. Very little pressure. His interceptions are high to be the best in the country.

It sure will. The game doesn't lie......you can either play or you can't. No place to hide.
