I’ll be heading back to Arkansas soon, for another family gathering. I’ll be surrounded by mullet-heads. But, I will be on the lookout for man bun wearers in Arkansas.
I’ll be driving from Groesbeck to Mena, Arkansas. Then down through Hot Springs to El Dorado. I will closely observe the indigenous population. If 2 people from Arkansas get married, are they still cousins?

What about pony tails? Did you seen any men with pony tails in Waco or Arkansas? Are pony tails as popular as man buns or mullets?

I have an adult Nephew, big blond headed kid (good kid), with a man bun. I give him hell. You should be ragging him to the point of tears. He takes my ribbing well and just laughs about it. Hard worker with two kids, young Conservative that loves guns, with a freakin' man bun lol. To hell you say?!?! I ain’t never. He’s confused man, he sounds like a stand up dude, get him straitened out on the Libby hair doo We’re counting on you man, do it I am, trying. He wants me to take him hunting. I told him OK, under one condition.....put a hat on your head so I ain't gotta look at that.

I knew a married gal from Arkansas years ago. Her husband had died, but she wasn’t allowed to inherit till she turned 13. Tragic…

This reads like a bunch of teenage girls talking about hair. From postings, most here appear on the surface to be non-conformists. But it's fascinating to read these threads and see the ever lasting duality of mankind. If you look deeply into these thoughts you will find such judgements are really self validation: am I better or worse than this person, stronger or weaker, smarter or dumber, part of the herd or not part of the herd?
The person with the man bun or whatever hair style is likely looking at you with self validation in mind as well. These are mostly primeval, unconscious thoughts, but manifest themselves in ways like this thread for example. "Is this the new normal in this part of the world? If so, I don’t much like it." is really an internal threat derived from fear, uncertainty and doubt that you may be weaker, no longer fit into the herd, and have a much greater risk of death as a social outcast.
Nothing wrong with these feelings. They are very much hard wired into us as social animals where once upon a time our early ancestor's lives depended on such thinking.
I get a #2 all the way around every couple of weeks. One question, mescaline, or mushrooms???
