Funny how brave some people get when hunting on someone else's property and someone else's livestock shows up.

When I first saw this thread I thought it must have been meant to be a joke, calling what are obviously somebody’s well cared for livestock, exotics that could be shot. After reading some of the responses, I’m not so sure anymore. When someone’s livestock is on your property, you need to either deal with the owner, or call the county sheriff.

You better make sure the landowner wants them controlled, or it might end up costing you a pretty penny.

I am the OP and I own the land. It is not a lease. None of the neighboring properties claim the goats. I want the goats controlled.

So then I guess I need to find put who owns that Axis and blackbuck that are on my property too? I lease grazing rights to a cattle rancher, not a goat herder.

There are only 4-5 deputies in Edwards County. They don't have time to mess with feral freaking goats.

If you don't know what to do then you have big problems. I am questioning your knowledge on solving simple matters. Do what you have to do. But if you are smart you don't start by writing it on a forum for everyone to read. And as always it is just my opinion and everyone knows what that is.

I got no problems and I know what I am going to do. I have no problems stating on a public forum either. I own my land. I know the law. Thanks for your input, dick.

Spanish goats won't hurt raw land, provided they don't over graze. Slow roasted, they can taste great if you do it right..

And they look like free $ at auction. http://www.producersandcargile.com/market-report
