Growing up in Throckmorton and farming in Woodson I have eaten there countless times. I lived on their sandwiches during high school.

Think it's run by a Hispanic lady (cook) and her daughter, front end and register, is that correct? At least that was setup a week + ago.

Worked in the Sherman area back in ‘83. Used to frequent City Limits, remember it being a good place to go.

Wife cooked dinner, she bought hamburgers at Larry's on N Treadaway in Abilene. Good burgers, locally owned for as long as I can remember. Place looks like a dump, but good hamburgers, the greasy spoon kind with real french fries.

I see "cooked" is an even looser term at your house than it is at mine. grin

Chester's is still the King down here. One of the kids usually gives me gift certificates to there at Christmas. food

Could be. It's been several years since I was there last.

The Eagle's Nest in Jonesboro. The SouthWestern burger is the best. Fries are over the top - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and one order is enough for 4 people. It's a gas station / convenience store on the corner of 36 and FM217. It's worth a detour if you're traveling!

Dough City Pizza and Burgers in Red Oak has outstanding burgers. Their pizzas are really good, too!

Morgan Street Burgers in Meridian are great as well!

Well that is a bummer. DQ and I have had a few good burgers there in the past.

I have become partial to the "50/50 burger" at Vernon's Lakeside on Cedar Creek Lake. It's 50% top sirloin and 50% smoked Applewood bacon, ground in-house.

It's located on Hwy 334, on the little island between Seven Points and Gun Barrel City. (They have a good dock setup, so we take the boat for the 15 mile run instead of the truck)

Great thread.

I'm pretty basic burger guy. like a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle & mustard. Probably ate too many Whatburgers growing up if that is possible.

I like

Walburger (Frisco)

Grumps (Gandbury)

JC's Burger House (Allen)
