Hmmm....I'm very interested. I never thought about a small flight pen. I've got room from something like this.

Ordered kit from Amazon, just search for quail flight pen several will pop up. This is basically a chicken coop which I modified. I ordered basically for the frame and made it my own from details in original post.

i had three large pens when i lived in calif -- you might want to split the pen with water on one side and feed on the other - that makes them fly back and forth -

we also dug down 12 inches and put metal siding to keep the coons and skunks- the worst were tree rats - we ended up using 1/4 wore mesh and poured 1 inch concrete floor to keep them from digging under 0 we lost 50 chucker in two nights -

we also feed with turkey grow - high protein and birds ate it up - we raised 300 or so per year and they were flight ready in 14 weeks -
