Does anyone have a flexible heavy metal edging that they recommend? How flexible? And do you want it painted/powder coated or is rust color okay?

https://www.colmet.com/ Manufactured in Garland. Home Depot and Lowes used to carry it. I'm pretty sure they still do.

Bagworms. Pluck them off and put them in a little diesel. Otherwise Permethrin or Sevin.

Ok, crepe myrtle peeps. I would love to just level this tree but my wife likes it so whatever. Last year it looked healthy. This year it came up with this stuff. I don’t know if it’s from the freeze or just a fungus. Also covered in sap. What say y’all? Suspect tree Up close pics of what’s on it.

Is it just an aphid problem? They were on my peppers. Not anymore. Should I just dust the tree with DE?

That's scale insect. Imidacloprid to the roots. Horticultural oil for the insects you see.

34,000 sqft of new (2 month old) sod is gong to bankrupt me trying to keep it from turning yellow and dying.
I thought it was rooted well enough to cut down to twice a week, but it got ugly quick when I started cut down the watering's. I am back at 3X week and some areas still look bad enough I am running a hose end sprinkler to supplement the irrigation system in spots.
How do I wean this stull off of the water? I am already at $300 and still have a week left on the next bill. All of the great rain over the last few days is stopping before it gets to us.
We all need to practice Whoa more.

Bermuda? It's summer. You don't wean it off water, specially at 2 months old. Have you fertilized? Maintaining just a touch under a acre to look good, ain't going to be cheap. And extra specially if you plan on a straight granular program.

Some strain of Bermuda.
We have fertilized as recommended by the landscape company. Once at 6 weeks old, with the "new lawn" fertilizer they recommended. We are supposed to fertilize again in about 2 weeks.
I'm going to raise the mower deck another 1" and start mowing more often.
I've had Bermuda in the two previous homes and twice a week worked well enough, even in the hottest months. It might not keep it lush green, but it never turned yellow. This is the fist time I've ever had an entire lawn of new sod though.
I've generally gone with the " if you can see your tracks a minute after walking across the lawn, it needs water" rule. There are area of our lawn that are nice and green, and other areas that are yellow splotches and looks very stressed. The green parts of the lawn still pass the walk test. I have not done the tuna can test, but I have watched the sprinkles and the majority of the yellow areas appear to be getting as much water as the green areas.
We all need to practice Whoa more.

Bet it's 419. Nothing wrong with that at all. New lawn fertilizer is a scam. You need to hammer that arse with a balanced 1-1-1, At 35k sq feet. I'd be hitting it with something like 13-13-13 with N(Nitrogen} being Ammonium Sulfate vs Urea, at a rate of 150lbs or 3.5-4 lbs per 1000, to break it down in simpler terms. I'd do this every 4 weeks/1st weekend of every month though September. Water it in after application. And I would get an app of fungicides down. Hot and humid ='s disease, Propiconazole will stunt your growth a bit, the Bio, but will handle dollar spot. Azoxystrobin (scotts) gives you a different group to mix, but does nothing for Dollar. Apply at the curative rate. https://www.lowes.com/pd/BAYER-ADVA...3-ZKZtWqeRoCnU0QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.dshttps://www.lowes.com/pd/Scotts-DISEASEEx-Lawn-Fungicide-5-m-6/1000617387That gives you a Group 3 and 11 fungicide action. Which is good.
