I don't hate it.
I don't love it.

It looks like something a dad would buy his daughter after she gets her first real job after college.

That might be true but they are still being built in Mexico. lol.

A new pickup truck from Ford Motor Co. quietly began rolling off assembly lines at the Dearborn automaker's Hermosillo plant in Mexico last month, according to production data reported to shareholders this week.

So they are building pickups and can't do anything with them.

Quote
As Kentucky Derby fans traveled along Interstate 71 to and from Churchill Downs over the weekend, it would've been hard not to notice while driving through Sparta the thousands of Super Duty pickup trucks parked in rows.
This illustrates the multibillion-dollar impact of the ongoing global semiconductor shortage on the auto industry, specifically Ford Motor Co. Super Duty trucks built at the nearby Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville.

^^^ Yes I guess. GM switched off the need for the stupid chips required to make the newest and worst version of AFM work and we're getting trucks now with no AFM like they should have been all along. I'd hold my horses on 33 per hour week UAW folks making too much to lift nothing and get any credit regardless of the maker's badge.

EDIT *** not sure why I clicked the link but a Maverick is supposed to be an ugly stumpy version of a Mustang. All I see is an updated version of the silly Exploder Sport WTF thingie they made a few years ago. Like an American non-US Honda Ridgeline. We're all destined for Hades!

I remember when the original Maverick came out. That was one ugly little car. And yes, back then it was considered little. grin

My wife told me her first car was 4 door Maverick. I burst out laughing. Truly, a woman ahead of her time.

One shot is all it should take.
