Sewer Rat - Hopefully by now you have enough to decide what model scope might be best for your son. If not, I’m sure there’s no shortage of customer reviews available from the most common online sources.

Apologies. It was a relevant thread to a question I had and figured it was better to post my question here rather than start a whole new thread.

No apology necessary. I’m sure your post had nothing to do with my last post. Besides, a good discussion should always be open to other relevant comments and questions. Your question brings to light the Freedom series includes numerous models and features to match the needs of those looking to stay on a budget. My earlier post and photos were simply an effort to support those looking to do just that.

Actually I have no idea who you are. I just thought a picture of one dead hog was irrelevant to the conversation of a scope being good. Now that I see you added a 2nd hog, I stand corrected. My apologies.

Athlon, Hawke, Leupold and Burris all offer excellent options. Please give us a call, 516-217-1000, to discuss what would be best for you

Sorry for not responding. We ended up with a Leupold Freedom 4x12. It works great. Was a little more than I wanted to spend but still was cheaper than the rifle banana

Glad you found one you like.

Be sure to share a photo of the first game animal taken with it.
