Cherokee Deer Processing in Maydelle, TX. Very clean and some of the best summers sausage I’ve had.

Can you folks from the Midland Texas area recommend where to go? I don’t mind going towards San Angelo if needed.

Just a FYI I REFUSE TO USE NATURALLY FRESH IN MIDLAND.

Has anyone tried Rudolphs Meat Market? I just found out they process deer and hogs. I love their sausages already and might give them a try.

Now you've gone and done it. Kuby's is CLOSED for business because they are overwhelmed with customers. Closed until mid December 2020.

Anyone used Clear Fork Processing in Graham, TX? We have had mixed experiences in our camp.

Decent, not great. A little on expensive side. Good Summer sausage. Used to not make jerky, not sure now...

One of the members on our lease got shorted on meat at Clear Fork Processing. I agree that he did not get near as much meat as if he processed it himself but I also think that the processors won't take the same care you would. Everyone else took our deer there and got a fair amount of meat.

It didn't help that when he brought up with the owner that he didn't agree with how much meat he received he was a jerk about it.

I've heard some not good things about them.

I'm going to agree with this, my good friend has a ranch near Brownwood (Blanket) and he uses Perk's regularly. Their sausage is outstanding, I'm usually eager to make a trade with him a couple of times a year!

I've used Klein's before, took a while to get it back but they treated me right and all their stuff was great. I always forget to use them!

Txbrian curious what your wait time experience is on avg at Hudson’s? I’m new to the area and dropped a deer off over 3 months ago and it’s still not done. Trying to give them benefit of the doubt with the winter storm. What do you think? Definitely looking forward to the seasoning options.

TXHunter0619, 3 months is too long for sure. Have used them in the past with good results. May need a in person visit.
