Suppressor freedom. That would be excellent! That would be nice! If Colorado can smoke weed even though the feds say they can't, maybe we can protect our hearing even though the feds say we can't!

Suppressor freedom. That would be excellent! X2! The worst part of Federalization is that the lazy slugs won't even process applications at anything approaching a reasonable rate. It's a deliberate attempt to administratively discourage **perfectly legal** ownership, by an arrogant bureaucracy.

The suppressor one would be interesting and I wonder how fast the feds would file a law suit against Texas over it. Depending on what else they require, I'd probably pick one up right away. Does anyone have a list of the Texas companies that make suppressors and would fit under the made in Texas requirements?
Thanks, Rich

It's a deliberate attempt to administratively discourage **perfectly legal** ownership, by an arrogant bureaucracy. Exactly right. In 2012, I waited 6 months. Next one April 2019 to March 2020. Absolute :B's: Oh, and I mailed the application for an 07 FFL the exact same time as the Form 4. The government gave me the power to create firearms from scratch, serialize them, and sell them. That took only 5 weeks.

Kansas passed a suppressor freedom law. Some dude was making and selling them. He ended up convicted, got 2 years federal probation.

Greetings!
Sanctuary State Passes- Goes to Governor Abbott!
HB 2622 by Rep. Holland: This creates a Sanctuary State for our law abiding 2A community. Boiled down, it says that no state resources can be used to enforce federal firearms laws that are not also state laws. Further, it gives recourse if a state agency or political subdivision of this state ignores this law.
Please be aware however, if a federal agent finds you breaking federal law, you still have a serious problem. But this bill will make it more difficult for them to operate in Texas-without the cooperation of our Law Enforcement Officers or our resources, it becomes challenging.
We would like to thank Representative Holland and Senator Hall (who sponsored the bill in the Senate), the leadership of Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Speaker Dade Phalen.
We look forward to Governor Abbott signing this bill into law and we know from his public comments on multiple occasions, he intends to do just that! Thank you, Governor Abbott for your leadership as well!
