Cycles nice, trigger feels good. Bullet .004" off the lands, and the ammo fits in the mag.

Yeah, you might be able to kill a deer with that.

Nice rifle and nice group.

Just my .02,

Yes, 1:10

The Leupold is almost a good scope. 1/4 MOA turrets, and a duplex reticle. So elevation can be dialed, but ya got nothing for wind hold. My bet is it gives lots of hunters, that never practice shooting, the belief that they are fine taking a +400 yard shot, just because they can dial elevation. Nothing could be further from the truth.

No, I would not own one like this.

Last week I was shooting a different Leupold, getting DOPE for my customer. At 14X, the mirage was kicking its' butt. It too was a duplex reticle but .1 Mil turrets. Just dumb.

i have 2 Mark V's, one an accumark in 257 wby and one an ultralightweight in .300 Win.

Both are good shooters but the .300 win shoots very good. 3 shots can cover with dime

There was a time when the Mark V was the most accurate factory rifle one could buy, don't think it can claim that anymore but even after all these years it still hangs in there fairly well.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I’m not a huge Weatherby fan but that’s a good looking rig...pretty good shooting it looks like too.

Roy weatherby was ahead of his time. His grandson Adam has taken the company in a different, albeit very successful direction with the introduction of new Mark V’s and greatly expanding the vanguard line.

One day, I’ll go order a Mark V deluxe with some pretty wood in .270 why mag. Don’t know what I’ll do with it but I will have it

If I ever buy another Weatherby it will be in 6.5x300, it may never get shot but it will be traditional to what Weatherby is/was famous for. He liked them fast movers.

You saying I cast out lightning? Not really, that's pretty mild.
