I like it! I may have to borrow your genius. Mine is cracked. Been getting some good rain here today as well. Well over half an inch so far.

Mine is glass, has to be removed in winter.

Been using the same two for 15-20 years. One glass, one plastic. Always turn them upside down before first hard frost. Never had a problem that way.......
