For what its worth. June of last year my wife needed to get her annual physical. She had to get a Covid test before the Dr. would see her. She did and tested Negitive. Went to the Dr. got her physical.

About a week and half later she got really sick over 4th of July weekend. Could not keep anything down her for over a week, Dr. was no help, told her she had IBS. Only thing I knew was to pour water and Gatoraide down her. We finally got her to another Dr., Kidney funtion was down to 26%, kidney failure is about 15 percent. She had none of known Covid symptoms at the time. While I was trying to take care of her, I got sick. My head hurt like I had been hit in the head with a hammer and my gut was tore up really bad for 5 days. As bad as my wife was I could not stop and I just had to suck it up keep going. The second week of July 2020 was a rough week at my house. Because this was right in the middle of the Covid shutdown, Dr. would not see her. We had Dr's doing virtual examinations over Skype and Zoom which were about as worthless as Tits on a boar hog. I was taken back at how inept some of the Dr's. were. One speciallist we took her to want a tech to inject dye in her Kidneys for a certian test. The tech told me to call the Dr. office back she will not do it. If she injects dye into my wifes Kidneys with a kidney function of 26% my wife's kidneys would fail within minutes. You shoudl have seen the look on that Dr. face when I confronted her and asked why it took a tech with a high school diploma to figure that our. Dr. just gave me a blank stare and she walked away.

Wife has finally got better to some extent, kidney function is about 46 percent after all these months. She still doesn't feel good and not even the same person she was at one time. All the Dr's we have taken her to can't say if she was one of the people that got hit with Covid and had Kidney failure symptoms or not. A very small percentage of people with Covid only had Kidney issues from what we found out. Its to late to take antibody tests. Like our Regular Dr. who is really good said, at this point it doesn't mater what caused it we have do deal with it.

She didnt have trouble breathing back in July, but from time to time she has breathing problems. Foods that she used to like no longer taste good to her. Dr. can't say for sure she had Covid, but I'm pretty sure she did. At the time she had none of the known symptoms of Covid, but she was dang sick. I think I had it too, but my symptoms were not typical Covid either.

Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Life is not easy and it can change so quickly.

I read your words and can feel the anguish through them. I am so sorry for your loss. The intensity of your words, to me, indicate she was lucky to have a man lover her so fiercely and I am sure that was reciprocated. Words won't fill the hole you have right now; wish I had more to offer.

I had a friend killed in a car wreck two weeks ago; his father pasted this to his Facebook Feed and offer those words hoping there may be some comfort for you:
