Tear a hole in the top of the den, put in a 20 oz plastic soda bottle full of ANFO and set off from a distance.

that 06 might be a bit light

Did all of this except for the den part. I would tear out the dam in the overflow right before dark, put on waders, stand out in the water with a headlamp and a shotgun. Wait till I heard them working, then on with the light and shoot them. They can't stand the water dropping and don't have much fear at night. I also set up on the bank with a 14" Contender Pistol in 35 Remington and wore them out at dawn and dusk. Never had any luck with traps on Beavers, other critters pretty well, just not them water ones. Good luck, it will take awhile to get them all.

The state has trappers that will come to your place and take care of the problem. No charge! They came to our place e. of Bonham and set traps and the guy had night vision. He stayed in our house for 2 nights and got 6 off a 5 acre pond and 4 off a 60 acre lake.

This country is stuck on stupid!
