What area are you in?
My place is in far Eastern Bexar county about 25 miles from San Antonio and none of my 'every day' bucks have dropped anything yet.
I thought after that bad freeze a couple weeks ago it would put them into dropping pretty fast but it hasn't happened yet.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Found both sides of one yesterday, spotted one on the side of the road and actually kicked the other one about 4 ft away that I didn't see. Second time I've found a set together like that.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.
