Deer are tough as nails. I think they will mostly make it unless there are underlying conditions they are dealing with.

There were a couple "experts" on the Fakebook Axis Unlimited page who were predicting thousands upon thousands of dead axis. From what I have seen, although sad, unfortunate, and tragic, the death toll doesn't look to be as significant as these self-proclaimed "experts" were predicting.
