Me and my buddy drew for last weekend if February for the shotgun hunt. I know shotgun isn't ideal, but I'll take any chance I can get. My questions are,

Has anyone already had a stab at the hunts out there this year? If so how is it looking? What were the success rates like? Was there a way of hunting that was working best? Ground blind, sit against a tree or something else? Shooting sticks or lean on a tree?

I know there are rifle hunts on other sites in the Laguna system, but since I wouldn't shoot past archery range, I wanna hear how folks have done with bow and arrow, shotgun, or muzzleloader.

Thanks!

Congrats on the Draw. Only been to LA on rifle hunts. It’s not going to be easy with a shotgun but it beats not hunting.
