Used to be a chain of small department stores in Oklahoma during the 60's called Kress'. Spent many an hour in the one in OKC as a kid.

Mine as well. Is this an Okie thing or were Otasco's and TG&Y's in Texas as well? A quick check with wikipedia says both had stores in several states. The only ones I ever visited were in OKC.
