Flights will go back up but South Africa for me will probably be 2022. I want all the Covid crap to somewhat blow over.

SA is open now but it’s my understanding that the US is now going to require a negative test within 3 days of reentering. So I guess you need to find a dr in whatever country you go to that can give a test before you leave starting Jan 26. I’m going to Mexico fishing in a couple days and booked the flight back for the 25th hope it works out.

Got a hunt scheduled for June this year in South Africa. The prices are cheaper than I have ever seen them on some premium animals. I am hoping that by June this whole covid thing will be behind us, especially with the vaccine. Airfare was about what I paid in the past.

'Gotta a STEP (State Department) email regarding the testing required to re-enter, from anywhere. Then I got another email from STEP yesterday regarding higher crime, COVID, etc. in Jo'berg. (Also got one regarding Mozambique.) I miss Zim terribly, but it'll be a while before I consider going back over.

Got the Word from the Outfitter yesterday that Argentina's borders are to remain closed to Americans.
So that trip is off until 2022.
Hopefully we can still make Canada
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.
