Dang longhunter you have some nice deer I bought a place in Coleman co this year it’s small 172 acres we haven’t taken a deer yet we have passed some pretty nice ones my oldest son and my grandson are up there now I’m at our ranch in Leon co the grandkids took a couple mature bucks off this place this year I’m here with another grandson spike hunting
I have enjoyed reading about your hunts this year and seeing the good deer Love Leona

We’re between Leona and Flynn off 977 fawn crop has got better since I got a trapper to take out some coyotes made a BIG difference as you know there’s AR’s here and I love it
There’s not in Coleman co and my grandchildren have learned to let the young bucks walk they do the same in Coleman

Thanks for the comments, I enjoy sharing when I can. Sometimes the subject doesn't cooperate, they are a little buzzier eating now than they were a week or two ago. And yes, the eight just showed back up last week, but the ten is a regular. I tagged one of my hit list bucks last month. Now I'm trying to get another doe or two for the freezer, but I don't see many of them...

Old school stand. Very cool.  I need to build one of those somehow on an old Blynd tower that was left on the place. I need a "machan" to ambush pigs at the windmill. And maybe the occasional axis. Too windy and cold out for this old man. (25mph gusts). Guests just left and I'm pooped.

I hunted Coleman Sunday n Monday one of my work hands is up there now we haven’t seen any those 2 days it’s like flipping a switch my son was there last weekend and seen quite a few deer I don’t know what the problem is
We haven’t taken a deer off the place but have let some nice young bucks walk earlier in the season

Not sure either, I do know it’s very dry They have been cleaning up every grain of corn around feeders and hand graining It’s like they just moved out with the little moisture over the last couple weeks maybe some wheat came up idk
