Ha!!! Well played!! Actually I just got home from rockport and the deer lease. I started packing for my next trip and Wife brought me a package.

Headed to mountains tomorrow, it’s already packed. Oh the adventures it will share.

And for the record, my new rangefinder is packed also.

I gotta wonder if coming back for the forgotten tag was truly necessary.

Worst client ever!!!! Shows up no tag, then put him on 35 deer and he passes on all but one. Can't get close enough to the one. So no deer tonight.

Let's just say I put him on a deer with great 9” back forks at 15 yards and he passed!!

Is his bow sized appropriately? Can he pull it to full draw?

Im thinking its the guides fault. Likely he tried to pull that fuzzy thing on his cap down to shade his eyes and it covered his eyes so he couldnt see his range finder, oh, well, maybe not. Maybe it was those things he forgot to pack that he should have packed. If the client bashes the guide I wonder if he will use large font, all capital letters and red to do it.

Only thing Dave forgot was his tag, I didn't for get anything except maybe rhino lining exterior of my truck before I left. roflmao

I'm officially moving down to a half ton next year. My kidneys hurt!!

Not as good of a day as yesterday. One buck, 13 does. Just starting to act a little rutty so thinking end of week big boys will come out.

Oh we may become locals by end of the week. Pretty sure every forkie we have seen is now dead roflmao they don't discriminate here.

FWI, Stx, It does not work here, they don't respond well!!

So far up to about 60 deer
5 elk
20 pronghorn
2 aoudad

Having a blast

They do not respond everywhere all the time...right circumstances and they will there. Don't waste time on does and younger bucks...wait till you have the a mature shooter with the does. Don't educate them.

Every seasoned hunters needs a handicap to make for the complete hunting experience......also, someone to pick up the lost items along the trail is always an added bonus for the "big deal".... leaves the hunter with less things to buy for the hunt next year and the next year and the...... grin
