Just decide ahead of time if you like him or not and be sure not to change your mind IF he doesnt score what you hope. Scoring can serve a purpose in management and it can be fun but ive seen score bum out a lot of folks.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR

was blessed with the opportunity to shoot this beautiful buck!  What a beast...great job! For the gearheads...what rifle, cartridge, and ammunition did you use? How far away? How far away? ruger american, 6.5 creedmoor, the ammunition was a sig 130 grain not what we typically shoot but was the only option... i bet y’all know what i mean. he was about 110 yards away. Hes kinda red on the head like the ....... Also, with your photo skills I expect to see better pics to come. Dont hold back. i will for sure make another post soon after i have scored and know more information. as of right now i have not figured out how to post multiple pics at a time haha.

Doesn't matter what he scores, only matters that it's your trophy, your happy and he's really nice! I think he'll score above my two best 10 points and they are both 130 class so probably 140 class with that mass. Just my .02

Scoring can serve a purpose in management and it can be fun but ive seen score bum out a lot of folks. haha i could see how it would “bum” people out. the reason we didn’t score is because i didn’t think ab it. i really don’t care to know because like you said, it’s my trophy. by far the biggest buck i’ve ever gotten so it’s not going to let me down. being that it’s low fence and it’s off the property i’ve been hunting on since i got my first pig just makes it that much better.
