Say hello to your new neighbor Tesla CEO Elon Musk put his California houses on the market this year while he was sparring with state lawmakers over Covid-19 restrictions. He’s simultaneously been expanding operations in Texas and cozying up to Republican Gov. Greg Abbott.
Now, several of his close friends and associates say that Musk has told them he’s planning to move to the Lone Star State. The people with knowledge of his plans asked not to be named because their conversations were private.

Probably will be like most Californians who move to Texas to get away from the politics there only to vote for the same type of politicians here.

California is trying to institute a wealth tax and they are also trying to increase their state income tax level. It's no wonder people are moving out.

its time to move out of Texas , its been flipped. All these companies are coming for the cheap labor. All the cheap labor is moving to Texas. I guess now I can move to Atlanta or Ca. they are all here. oh yeah , musk is the swamp. His "girlfriend"=dude looks like a lady.

I don't see him making the same mistakes that has made the West coast a lib sh1thole. Speaking of libs, I've met quite a few people on both sides of the fence here in Rockport. They all say that liberal progressive/socialists are ruining areas where they've been elected in government. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see their policies are harmful to society and local economies.
