They play as a team................I would ban the team/players and coaches for 4 years............and cant go to any other school and play for that same amount of time.
And that player would go do some time. You’re the last person on here I’d expect to push the “ban everyone for one idiot’s mistake” culture. No sh1t. And I used to think buzz was a crybaby.... Bet you the next team doesn't do that. Nip it Nip it in the bud Andy.....................And I would test them all for steroids by an outside doctor.

He's nothing but a punk *** bitch and should be treated as such. The irony is he got called for unsportsman-like conduct, and to show everyone how wrong that call was he took the official out. Makes perfect sense I guess.
If that kid is ever able to see another uniform of any kind someone needs to be fired. X2. He's acting like a blm fool x3 X4 and that is why nothing will be done to him. He will start next week in the playoff game.

Apparently he has attacked a soccer ref too.
Hopefully a scholarship for athletics is not in his future.

you would be shocked at the way the players behave. I agree. When I played, we all had our rivals and would talk some smack. But the smack talk these days is more personal in nature and harsh. It is certainly over the top, IMO. We see aggressive personal fouls all the time, and they do not call them. The harshness of the game has changed for the worse.

No player on any team I played on from pee-wee to college would pull that. That's a culture, coaching and parenting issue. I'm with takewhatyoucan on this one. I've never had a coach or teammate that would allow my to make it past 5 yards into the field. Time to get back to policing your own and stop BS HAND HOLDING, and PROJECTING EXCUSES.

Unless there is a history of the team being dirty, or if a bunch of them fought after the kid assaulted the ref, I don’t think punishing the entire team is the right move.

I read the story earlier, it didn't have the video. I hope they pressed charges! Apparently he was a star wrestler. I hope UIL doesn't let him compete in anything. ban him for life. Ditto.

I coached some small class HS football and still attend many games....mostly small rural 2A-3A type schools. Never ever see that type of disrespect or behavior from players. Seems like it comes down to culture and surroundings.
It’s mostly how and where ya graze em and raise em it seems....
